Cancer Girl grabs her coat, stomps out the front door, mumbling.

One day, while I was on the phone with my youngest heart-sister, Liberty, she was having to do a ‘mom chomp’ on her 8 year old son.

A Wombat "Whatevermind."

Not wanting to sass her, he instead calmly just said, “Whatevermind” and walked away. We both cracked up laughing. His “Whatevermind” conveyed so much more than just a regular dismissive  “whatever.” It was more of a means to convey, in one word, an entire mindset of passive resignation, with a just a splash of defiance.

Since then, more and more of our friends of Facebook are using the phrase. Today I find myself completely in a “Whatevermind” state of being.

In less than 20 minutes from now I will be driving to my plastic surgeon’s office to get my “oreos” tattooed on me, AGAIN!! Yes, AGAIN!!!!

Apparently the first session has been medically deemed as being “too faded” and, get ready for this one, “too peachy.”

Too peachy? TOO PEACHY?!?!?! Because the dye didn’t take to my skin right, I gotta do this stupid tattoo thing, again?!?!?!? Isn’t that just peachy!!

Thx for your post, I really enjoy your blog. Long time lurker, first time commenter, you know the drill. I tried to share this one time before, I don’t think it posted correctly…hopefully it will this time!

I can not thank you adequately for the posts on your web site. I know you’d put a lot of time and effort into them and hope you know how much I appreciate it. I hope I’ll do exactly the same for someone else at some point.

Henrietta – It is a honor to learn that Racaroonie skills are indeed brightening someone else’s day. If this blog has brought a smile to your face, and you share that smile? You’ll have already passed forward a blessing.
    Blessings to you and yours.

Caitlyn – How delightful! A lurker speaks! YOU are one of my blessings today … thank you for letting me know that silliness does indeed contribute to the greater good.

Go slap an “I’m a L’idiot Blessing!” sticker on yourself!
